Founded by Ryan Fuchs, Boris Kantor and Klaus Wellershoff, Turiq grew out of a prototype built during a Swiss AI Weeks hackathon in 2025. The team spent roughly a year developing and testing the platform at Wellershoff & Partners and says it has won its first external customers.

Users choose the information sources and review outputs before approving them. The platform can run in a financial institution's existing cloud environment and is not tied to a single AI model. Fuchs leads the company as CEO and Kantor as CTO, initially targeting Switzerland and German-speaking markets. Turiq AG was founded on 15 October 2026; the company announced its formation on 22 October.
