Schlieren-based ALP Bio has raised USD 2.2 million in pre-seed financing led by 42CAP, with participation from Venture Kick and strategic angel investors. The company combines human immune organoids with generative AI to identify and reduce the risk of immune responses against therapeutic antibodies earlier in drug development.

The funding will expand experimental immune organoid capabilities, automation and throughput, support early pharmaceutical and biotechnology partner projects, and build scientific and commercial capacity in Switzerland and the United States. ALP Bio is developing the platform for antibody candidate screening, anti-drug antibody risk assessment and sequence optimisation while preserving therapeutic function.
