Schlieren-based ALP Bio has raised USD 2.2 million in pre-seed financing led by 42CAP, with participation from Venture Kick and strategic angel investors. The company combines human immune organoids with generative AI to identify and reduce the risk of immune responses against therapeutic antibodies earlier in drug development.
Winterthur-based Acodis announced a CHF 6 million Series A round on 23 January 2023, led by Hi Inov and VI Partners. The financing includes existing and new investors and will support expansion of its intelligent document-processing platform for pharmaceutical and healthcare organisations.
Acodis uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to extract unstructured information from documents such as PDFs, scans and Word files. Its no-code platform lets business users configure models for different document types and languages, supporting process automation and data analysis.
